Fightday in Milano 

Today's match will be in Ring A at approx. 20.00 Norwegian time. Sunniva will box from the blue corner. Link for stream under here. 

We are hours away from Sunniva's second match in the Olympic qualification in Milano.

In her first fight she was up against the experienced Kimberly Gittens (32) from Barbados. Gittens fought Norway's Lotte Lien at the World Championship in Barbados back in 2010, and she went all three rounds with World Champion Tammara Thibault in their recent fights. So we prepared for a tough fight. 

Sunniva went out at a high pace and punished the opponent hard to the head several times. After two standing counts the referee had seen enough and stopped the fight in the first round. 

Today we will box against Gabriele Stonkute from Lithuenia. A good fighter - World Champion in 81kg in 2022. We are really looking forward to share the ring with her!
