Winter Woman Boxing

What a tournament for Sunniva! She boxed two fights and won them both in a impressiv way. 

In the first fight she fought against Matilda Watson from Denmark. Watson is a technical good boxer, but she couldn`t stand against Sunnivas power in this fight. Sunniva bombed Watson to the body, and after two standing counts in the second round the referee had seen enough. 

In 81kg we saw on the draw sheet that it was a walk over. We texted the supervisor if we could also box in 81kg, and they were happy that we wanted a extra fight. The final became a hell of a fight. Mary Kate Smith from England just went forward the whole fight. Sunniva occasionally outboxed her, but she just kept coming, and the crowd loved it! The atmosphere was electric and both boxers seemed to love it. Sunniva landed some powerful bodyshots and had some really good attacks up and down. 

There was no doubt where the victory would end up, and Sunniva could pick up her second gold for the weekend. After the fight Sunniva got many kind words from both fighters, judges and people in the crowd. We really appreciate it! 

Sunniva got the prize as the best boxer of the tournament!
