World Boxing Challenge - Bronze medal

Sunniva just arrived back home in Norway after being one week in Usti Nad Labem, Czech Republic. This was the 55th edition of the traditional tournament. Countries like USA, Mongolia, Canada, England, Italy and Japan participated, ending up with 26 nations all together. 

In her first fight, Sunniva faced Czech home boxer Monika Langerova. After having a standing count on her in the first round the judge stopped the fight in the second after another count. 

In the semifinal we fought for the fourth time Melissa Gemini from Italy. Sunniva have won the three previous times. This time it didn`t go our way. After loosing the first round 3-2, and the second 4-1 it was too much to catch up in the last round. But it was too late to turn the game in our favor. So it didn`t go as we wished and planned, but that`s boxing. This time Italy got the chance to fight for the gold (she lost on split to Brazil in the final). 

We take the bronze medal with us home and we are ready for the next one!
