World Boxing Cup - Gold in Poland

She did it again! In her second World Cup in a row Sunniva secured yet another gold medal. 

In the semifinal she fought Viviane Pereira from Brazil. A fighter we know well from both sparring and fight a few weeks ago. Sunniva was briliant through all three rounds and won a massiv victory. The score was 4-1. In the last rounds two judges had 10-8 to Sunniva, two had 10-9 and the last one 9-10 the other way.... But that`s how it is, and World Boxing is having a good system for always having the best judges in the finals. 

The final was a rematch from the final in Brazil a few weeks ago. Melissa Gemini is a good fighter and she won two fights in Poland before she stood face to face with Sunniva. Sunniva boxed at a very high level in both semifinal and in the final. Having a standing count on Gemini in the second round. With high speed in both feet and hands she won on a unanimously decision. 

Next up is a training camp in Germany before we go to Usti Nad Labem in Czech Republic.
